What data and why

• Bookings (name, WhatsApp number, email, notes): to manage your table and send you confirmations and reminders by WhatsApp or email. Legal basis: performance of the service you requested.
• Offers, only with your consent: «I would like to receive offers and news from La Locomotiva by WhatsApp and email (at most once a week; I can write STOP at any time).» You can withdraw it at any time by writing STOP.
• Tailored suggestions, only with your separate consent: «I agree to my orders being used to receive suggestions tailored to my tastes.»
• Loyalty credit (QR code on the bill): bill amount and date, to calculate the credit.

How long

Booking data: 24 months from your last visit. Data used for tailored suggestions: 12 months. Consents: kept with date and text to prove they were given.

Providers

The website and database are hosted on our own server, in the restaurant. We use providers that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements: Meta (WhatsApp), Resend (email), Stripe (deposit payments), Anthropic (AI-assisted texts), Cloudflare (secure access to the site). Some are based in the United States: transfers take place with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent: write to [email protected]. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
